itel A70 Review

The itel A70 phone is a new smartphone from itel, a Chinese company specialized in producing low-cost and medium-quality phones. The phone comes with acceptable specifications compared to its price, but it suffers from some flaws and limitations. In this review, we will cover the most important features and drawbacks of the phone in terms of design, screen, battery, camera, sound, processor, operating system, colors, memory, connectivity, networks, and sensors.

Specifications of the itel A70 phone

Design

The itel A70 phone features a simple and elegant design, made of plastic on the frame and the back. The thickness of the phone is 8.6 mm, and it weighs about 200 grams. The phone has a power button and a volume button on the right side, and a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm port for headphones on the bottom. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor integrated in the power button, which works fast and accurately. On the left side, there is a SIM tray, which supports installing two SIM cards and an external memory card at the same time. On the front, there is a large screen with a small notch in the shape of a water drop, which contains the selfie camera. On the back, there is a dual rear camera with an LED flash, and the itel logo in the middle.

Screen

The itel A70 phone comes with an IPS LCD screen, with a size of 6.6 inches, and a resolution of 720x1612 pixels (+HD). The screen covers most of the front area, with a ratio of 20:9, and provides a good viewing experience for the visual content. Battery

The itel A70 phone comes with a lithium polymer battery, with a capacity of 5000 mAh, non-removable. The battery provides a long life for the phone, which can last for a full day or more with moderate use. Unfortunately, the phone does not support fast charging, and it takes about 3 hours to fully charge. The phone comes with a regular charger with a power of 10 watts, and a USB Type-C cable.

Camera

The itel A70 phone comes with a dual rear camera, with a resolution of 13 megapixels for the main camera, and 0.3 megapixels for the secondary camera. The front camera can record video with a resolution of 720P HD, at a rate of 30 frames per second. There is no flash with the front camera.

Sound

The itel A70 phone comes with a single external speaker, which provides acceptable sound quality, but does not support stereo technology.
